In session 1 we provide an overview of how the programme works with the objective that by the end of the session participants leave knowing what to expect from the Programme and that they have a guideline to follow. We introduce the concept of a “Career Canvas” which each participant will use over the course of the Programme, and beyond, to integrate their learning and develop an overview of how to optimize their career value chain.

​In session 2 we coach participants on the importance of adopting a CEO Mindset by introducing them to the importance of strategic long-term thinking and to visualise what ultimate professional success may look like for them.  We provide practical tools to support them in prioritising actions and effort that support them in delivering on their company defined objectives and their personal goals.

In session 3 we build on the topic of the CEO Mindset and focus in on setting goals for “Now” (short term), “Next” (next major career step) and “Ultimate Career Success” (long-term career aspirations) and provide coaching and tools to form habits and build systems that support them in their attitudes and behaviours towards making decisions aligned with the company’s objectives and their personal goals.

In session 4 we guide participants through a process of building self-awareness so that they can identify where their thoughts, emotions and core beliefs may support or hinder them in the delivery of the company’s objectives or the achievement of their personal goals. We work through a methodology of noticing and owning thoughts and emotions and making space for taking response-able decisions rather than reactive actions.

In session 5 we explore the concept that communication is the bridge between people.  We outline 5 communication traps that disconnect people, and we provide mentoring and coaching on how to recognize and overcome these traps for more impactful and influential communication. This session builds on the previous session as many of the communication traps relate to reactions to thoughts and emotions.

In session 6 we explore the concept of being intentional in how participants build their “Personal Brand” and position themselves to ensure that their stakeholders know what value they bring, what problems they solve and thus, choose to work with them. We coach participants through the concept that personal brand relates to the consistent way in which they build relationships, deliver on obligations and requirements and how they are experienced as relevant and driving value by their stakeholders.

In session 7 we build on the topic of “Personal Brand” and “Positioning” to unpack the concept of relevance. We explore the idea that in order to be relevant, participants need to understand their stakeholders, what they value and position themselves to deliver on that value. We further coach participants to explore who is relevant to them in supporting them in delivering on company objectives and in achieving their personal career goals.  

​In session 8, we build on “Remaining Relevant” and we explore what competencies participants need to develop now – In their current role, next – for their next career steps, and long-term – for ultimate career success.  We build on previous modules relating to goal setting to ensure that there is integration between goals, decisions and actions relating to competence.

In session 9, we recognise that incredibly competent people often derail themselves through their own behaviours and we build on the work done under the Self-Leadership module. We coach participants through their potential derailers, self-leadership and self-management strategies to stay on track and deliver effectively and consistently. 

In session 10 we build on discussions from the modules on CEO Mindset” and “Remaining Relevant” and explore who the participants need to surround themselves with, in other words, who is relevant to helping them delivery on objectives and build their careers and achieve their goals. We emphasise the value of building a personal “Board of Advisors” who have diverse backgrounds, skillsets and roles in the participant’s careers to broaden their perspective and help them see things that they cannot see on their own.

In session 11 we build on the “Self-Leadership” and “Delivering Without Derailing” modules and explore self-care and resilience strategies with the participants. We coach the participants specifically on focusing on their locus of control and the value of establishing boundaries that support them in remaining relevant and valued contributors without burning out.

The final group session is dedicated to integrating and reflecting on the programme and focusing in on learning through intentional thought and action and in the application of what has been learnt.
